Brief – Build a combined timber greenhouse and potting shed, somewhere to store all of her garden equipment and to grow lovely plants in time for the spring/summer months. We added an extra opening window to help with ventilation on the warmer days.

    What is the difference between a greenhouse and potting shed?

    Greenhouses are great if you want to store and grow lots of plants, a potting shed on the other hand, is suited to those who want to grow some plants and store equipment. A potting shed has walls that allow for shelving, hooks and other types of storage.
    Do I need to paint my greenhouse/potting shed?

    Yes - we recommend you do this using an oil or solvent based paint and the first initial paint should be three coats.
    How often should I paint my building?
